Tips for Personality Building

1. Be a better listener. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis was considered one of the most charming women in the world because she cultivated the skill of being an exceptional listener. She was known for the way she would look a person in the eyes, hang on their every word, and make them feel important. There is nothing more appealing than having someone listen to you intently making you feel like you're the only person in the world.

2. Read more and expand your interests. The more you read and cultivate new interests, the more interesting you are to others. When you meet new people it gives you the opportunity to share what you know and to exchange your views with them.

3. Be a good conversationalist. This relates to how much you read and know. Once you have much to contribute, learn how to talk about it with others. No one can read about or know everything, so it's refreshing to learn from others those things we don't have the time to about read ourselves.If you happen to be shy, join a group like Toastmasters that encourages you to talk about what you know.

4. Have an Opinion. There is nothing more tiresome than trying to talk to someone who has no opinion on anything. A conversation has nowhere to go if you have nothing to expound on. If, however, you have an uncommon point of view or differing opinion, you are more interesting and stimulating to be in the company of (unless you're a know-it-all, of course). A unique outlook expands everyone's perspective.

5. Meet New People. Make the effort to meet new people especially those unlike you. It not only exposes you to different cultures and alternative ways of doing things, it broadens your horizons.

6. Be yourself. The next most tiresome thing after having no opinions is trying to be something you're not. Molding yourself in order to fit in, or be accepted, usually backfires. Since each of us is unique, expressing that uniqueness is what makes us interesting. Attempting to be a carbon copy of someone else not only falls flat, but reveals a lack of authenticity.

7. Have a positive outlook and attitude. Who wants to be around people who are negative, complain a lot, or have nothing good to say? In fact, most of us run when we see them coming. Instead, be the kind of upbeat person who lights up a room with your energy when you enter it. Do it by looking for the best in people and things. Smile warmly, spread good cheer, and enliven others with your presence.

8. Be fun and see the humorous side of life. Everyone enjoys the company of someone who makes them laugh or smile. Look for the humorous or quirky side in a situation - there always is one. When you are fun and lighthearted people are naturally attracted to you.

9. Be supportive of others. Being supportive is probably the most endearing quality you can integrate into your personality. Just as you yourself welcome it, be the support for others when they need it. We all love a cheerleader in our corner; someone who is encouraging, believes in us and helps pick us up when we're down.

10. Have Integrity and treat people with respect. Being honest and true to your word will bring you the admiration, respect and gratitude of others. Nothing improves a person's personality more than integrity and respect - respect for others, as well as respect for yourself.

How to improve Spoken English Ability

Don't you pamper yourself thinking that FM Method, Saifurs or so called local Coaching Centers that claim to improve your English speaking ability would really be of any help! If you couldn't improve your English even after 10 or 12 or more years of study, then how would they improve it within 3 months or even less time? It's you who can help yourself in such case. First grow the utmost eagerness to learn the language and then follow the tips below:

i. Observe the mouth movements of those who speak English well and try to imitate them. When you are watching television, observe the mouth movements of the speakers. Repeat what they are saying, while imitating the intonation and rhythm of their speech.

ii. Until you learn the correct intonation and rhythm of English, slow your speech down. If you speak too quickly, and with the wrong intonation and rhythm, native speakers will have a hard time understanding you.Don't worry about your listener getting impatient with your slow speech -- it is more important that everything you say be understood.

 iii. Listen to the 'music' of English. Do not use the 'music' of your native language when you speak English. Each language has its own way of 'singing'.

iv. Use the dictionary. Try and familiarize yourself with the phonetic symbols of your dictionary. Look up the correct pronunciation of words that are hard for you to say.

v. Make a list of frequently used words that you find difficult to pronounce and ask someone who speaks the language well to pronounce them for you. Record these words, listen to them and practice saying them. Listen and read at the same time.

vi. Buy books on tape. Record yourself reading some sections of the book. Compare the sound of your English with that of the person reading the book on the tape.

vii. Pronounce the ending of each word. Pay special attention to 'S' and 'ED' endings. This will help you strengthen the mouth muscles that you use when you speak English.

viii. Read aloud in English for 15-20 minutes every day. Research has shown it takes about three months of daily practice to develop strong mouth muscles for speaking a new language.

ix. Record your own voice and listen for pronunciation mistakes. Many people hate to hear the sound of their voice and avoid listening to themselves speak. However, this is a very important exercise because doing it will help you become conscious of the mistakes you are making.

x. Be patient. You can change the way you speak but it won't happen overnight. People often expect instant results and give up too soon. You can change the way you sound if you are willing to put some effort into it.

Make Money by Listening to Music

I spend a lot of my day listening to music, especially on the internet, so imagine my surprise when I found out I could do this whilst earning money!
Earn by Listening to Music is a clever website that lets artists put their tracks up to be reviewed by the general public, and let's us review them.

The great thing about this site is it's free to join and make money, and as long as you have a Paypal account you can do it from anywhere in the World. You sign up, set up your profile and then straight away you can begin 'scouting'. You have to listen to 60 seconds of the song before it opens up for you to give it a rating out of 10, and a review based on what you've just heard.

As long as you write over 100 characters, and give an honest review, you can make money!

The earnings are based on a star system, and you have to work your way up that system by being honest in reviews and this is how it works out;

* : $0.02; per review
* : $0.05; per review
* : $0.10; per review
* : $0.15; per review
* : $0.20; per review

This is definitely a great site for anyone who likes listening to music, and wants to help Artist's know what is and isn't liked, as well as making money at the same time.

Who knew working from home could be so fun?

Make Money with Google Adsense

Google Adsense is the best reliable way to earn money online. This article describes what you need and how you can earn money through Google Adsense.

What you will need:

1. Domain Name Registration: You need to register a domain (eg. www.anyname.com). It would cost you about 10$ for a year.

2. Hosting: You need to put contents on a server. Buying space for keeping contents on a server is called Hosting. You need to buy hosting. It would cost you around 50-100$ per year. [You can try Iglhost.com. It offers free one month trial for professional hosting. If you like it then you can buy hosting from it, if you don't, you need not pay any money. Iglhost.com also helps you buy your desired domain name.]

3.Add Contents to your Website: Now you have Domain and Hosting! So, you can start storing your contents in your hosting so people can access them or view them by writing 'www.anyname.com' in their browsers. Put good contents so it attracts more visitors. Remember visitors are the most important asset to a website! And they will bring you money by clicking on any ads in your webpage.

4. When you have the above three things done, you need to apply for Google Adsense's approval. You can do it by registering with Google Adsense and adding your website's name with it. Once you Sign In to adsense, you'll see Adsense Setup tab in there. Click on it and follow step by step wizard to get the codes that you can put in places of your webpage where you want google ads to be displayed. Choose the best places for ads so that people click there! Because, as soon as they click - you'll get paid!

5. You are done. When someone visits your site and make any click to Google Ads, you will get money to your Google Adsense account. When you reach $100 then Google will sent you a check via postal service. The you just exchange that check from any bank.

But you must stick to the following rules if you really want to earn:

1. Don't click to Google Ads by your own computer.

2. Don't say any one to make click to your Google Ads.

3. Don't use any sexual activities to your web site.

4. Don't use any software or any site to increase traffic od your site.

5. Don't make any language that can be inspired to make click to Google Ads anyone

6. Try to know about Google Adsense account options like Page impression, Page Ctr etc.

If you do not have cash to buy domain or hosting then it is a good idea to try www.bloggers.com. It is also Google's site. It gives you a domain name and hosting for free. And you can start earning within five days after signing up. Have fun. :D

How to Earn Money from Facebook

Yes, what you have read is true! The most prevailing trend on the web today is earning money through FACEBOOK APPLICATIONS. Surprised? You must be wondering how a facebook application can make you earn thousands of dollars. Just read through this article and you will get to know how easy it is to earn money just by creating simple catchy Facebook applications.

What are Facebook Applications: Simply defined, Facebook applications are small software programs or components which are easily addable to a user’s Facebook profile. In just a couple of years, Facebook applications have attained enormous level of popularity due to the simplicity of its creation and the high level profitability it brings.

How do we earn from Facebook applications: You can earn directly or indirectly through a Facebook Application. Direct way to earn:

1--Creating an application

2--Using an application and Passive way to earn: Creating an application with your website's advertisement in it (a good example is Five Factor Model to Know Thyself. You would be surprised to know that the bdtips.com owner created this Application himself! He put an advertisement of bdtips.com in it and is getting international visitors visiting his site through the application everyday, making him some amount of money everyday!).

Okay lets get back to direct ways of earning: Earning money from Facebook application development is easier than you think. Just a couple of smart moves could get you to the acme of success and allow you to earn millions of dollars in a month. The core secret of this game is to develop Facebook applications that are catchy and user-friendly. The more people use your applications or the more users your application will have the more money it can generate. It is important for Facebook application development to detect users’ needs. Some widely used Facebook applications today are Funwall, Top Friends and Superwall. The reason why they are so widely used is simple; because they are need-targeted and people use them for doing a lot of other stuff.

For example, there's a relatively new Facebook application called 'Cash Cliques' and it takes less than 5 minutes per day to make some cash. For every ad you click on, you get paid. As well as that, you get paid when friends you referred click on ads! If you're lucky enough there are also random cash prizes to win. In the Facebook Cash Clique application there is a potential revenue calculator. For example, if you click on 10 ads per day and refer 30 people during the first month and they click on 10 ads per day, then the revenue calculator will tell you that you should earn 93 USD after the first month. So simply, more friends, means more money!

How to Make Money with a Website

How to Make Money with a Website

Making money with a website not only requires very little initial investment, but depending on what you want to focus on, it can be an extremely profitable venture as well. From affiliate marketing to blogging to actually selling your own products or even just running advertising on your site, even beginners with little to no experience can make money with a website if they just follow a few simple guidelines.

Building a website is also a lot easier than most people think. Gone are the days when you needed to understand html code, or be a design guru. There are now simple push button scripts available that let you get up and running with a professional looking website or blog in just minutes. There are also hundreds of great tutorials available online that will show you step by step how to make a website.

Affiliate marketing can be a great way to get started with making money online. With your own website, you can see where your audience is coming from and directly test new strategies to encourage new potential customers to come and buy a product that you’re marketing.

Affiliate marketing is when you market someone else’s product and receive a percentage of commissions in return for directing customers to another’s site. Depending on your niche, this can be quite lucrative. It will require some research to determine the best topics to work on, but regardless, it can be easy to leave links in your articles or even go so far as to have your own online store of goods you are affiliated with.

Blogging is another easy way to make money with a website, because once you’re established, that opens up many more opportunities to dip into other income streams. Given the propensity of other blogs out there today, it’s imperative to create a unique angle that will attract readers and eventually, advertisers. Top bloggers earn thousands per month from advertisers paying them to leave ads on their blogs for their millions of readers to potentially click on. Advertisers like this because they have a targeted audience already assembled for them; they just need a mechanism to get the traffic to their site.

You Can also build simple content based sites that offer visitors information about a particular subject they are search for. Then once you get the traffic coming to your site, you can monetize it by either promoting affiliate programs or by placing ads on your site. (just like the ads on this site) Then every time someone clicks on one of the ads on your site, you get a paid for it. Then you just have to work on producing good quality content which will attract more and more traffic. More Traffic = More Clicks = More Money.

Selling products through a website can also make you a healthy profit, because this gives you access to an entire network of internet users all over the world, not just customers who live in your area. Info-products are still making money, albeit not as much as they used to. But these are easy because they cost very little to make and it doesn’t take much effort to market them if your audience is there and possibly willing to purchase them.

Selling info-products means you are providing specialized information to a privileged group of people willing to pay for access to this information. This can be in the form of e-books, newsletters, or reports. All you need is a website, a quality product, and great advertising copy that will have customers lining up to buy.

Having your own website can be extremely helpful in boosting your other business ventures, such as freelance writing or consulting.

This is great in many ways because:
1--This means you are (hopefully) very knowledgeable about the services you provide and can offer great insight on them to your readers and

2--Writing articles on this subject matter can reel in not only loyal readers but potential clients as well. For example, if you are a small business consultant writing about marketing tactics, this could interest a business owner looking for further help with their own practice and encourage them to contact you in regards to further services. Offering free reading material is more valuable than most people realize, because it usually leads to actual paying customers.

Whichever way you choose to make money out of your website it’s easy to see why some of the most successful people and companies in the world are building their own websites.

How To Make Money Blogging

How To Make Money Blogging

More and more people are realising that blogging is one of the best ways to start your own online business. It requires minimal start up costs, you can build an impressive and loyal readership over time and once you know how to monetize your blog it can also bring in a decent income that will keep on coming even on the days when you don’t update your blog.

There are several ways to set up a blog online. You could use WordPress, Blogger, or another free site that hosts your blog for you; or alternatively you can set up your own blog under your own domain name.

If you want to make serious money from blogging, you must have complete control over your blog – and that’s something the free blogging accounts won’t give you. You’ll be bound by their terms and conditions and that usually includes not being able to actively promote anything. There are plenty of people who have established a blog only to have it removed without notice some weeks or months later.

It will cost you a few dollars to buy your domain name and set up a web server that will host your blog, but the benefits will far outweigh the cost involved. It can literally be as little as $20 a year we’re talking about here – and that buys you total freedom.

Once you’re ready to set your blog up you’ll need to choose a good theme and layout for it. You might find one that relates to your choice of subject (more on that in a moment) or else there might be one you just like the look of. But there are thousands of templates available for you to use – a simple search on Google will reveal the ones that will be best suited to your topic.

But perhaps the most important question is what you are going to blog about. The whole world is your oyster here – some people blog about their lives in general; some blog about their jobs; some blog about their hobbies; some tell the world about their kids and what it’s like to be a parent, and still others blog about the weird world of celebrities. But whatever you choose to blog about it needs to be something you are passionate about. Don’t forget, you are going to be writing about this topic several times a week, and if you don’t have the enthusiasm for it, that will show in your posts – and no one else will have the enthusiasm to read them.

Okay – so you’ve got your subject. Now you have to start writing your blog posts. If you take a look at just a few of the blogs already online, you’ll notice that the length of the posts varies a lot. Some people only write a paragraph or two each time, but you’ll get better results if you go for something a little longer than this. Around 400 to 500 words makes for a good post with a lot of information in it; some people write hugely long posts that are thousands of words long and could be called an e-book by another name.

But you can also take the format of this blog, by posting a short blog entry which leads into a longer article. This has the benefit of highlighting a lot of blog posts on the home page of the site, and people can then click through and read the ones they like the most.

You should remember however that there are no real rules when it comes to blogging. Over time you will naturally find what works for you, and your blog will settle down into a nice pattern that both you and your readers will enjoy. You’ll find your character and personality will start to come through in your writing too; don’t fight against this as it is one of the hallmarks of blogging. It is, after all, a personal account of an individual’s life and experiences, so show people what you’re made of! You’ll get a more loyal – and bigger – audience like this.

So you’ve got your blog up and running and you’re posting to it on a regular basis. The next step is to get it in front of as many interested eyeballs as possible.

One great way to do this is to submit it to as many of the social bookmarking sites as possible. You can also join social networking sites and build a profile which contains a link to your blog. Other no cost ways to generate traffic include writing free articles for article directories with a link to your blog at the end, and creating signatures at the end of any posts you make to internet forums, and also in all the emails you send out. When you really start thinking about it, you don’t actually need to spend anything to generate plenty of traffic.

All we need to do now is monetize the blog itself. You’ll want to generate some money from all the visitors you’ll start getting, and there are plenty of ways to do this easily. Google Adsense is probably the most well known method – you can join the program for free and display contextual ads that your visitors will be interested in to maximise your click through rate.

There are also a handful of websites which give you the opportunity to get paid for each blog post you make on a specific subject. Pay Per Post and Review Me are two such examples, and they will pay you a certain amount of money to review a product or website for the owner. In a similar vein you can also review and recommend other people’s products through affiliate links inserted into your blog posts, and earn money on commissions earned through any purchases people make.

And once you’re more established you can offer ad space on your blog too, and charge a fee for both classified and display ads if you wish. What could be better than setting your own price?

But there is one final step you can take with your blog if you enjoy a change of scene every now and again. You can sell your blog! Once it is established and has plenty of revenue and traffic, you can usually sell it for ten times its monthly revenue.

And then, you can start all over again with a whole new subject!

So that’s it – profitable blogging in a nutshell. If you have any questions feel free to leave your comments in the form below. And once you’ve done that, get out there and get started building your first blog today.
